Im so sorry I  have been absent from blogging for the past month it has been a roller coaster month HOWEVER I am back on track now and had to share with you a great find of mine. I am a big advocate for Vintage clothing it has always been a passion of mine to shop around in different countries and find the coolest funky bohemian rock chic stores. From an early age my mother used to dress me in vintage one of kind pieces and i have followed this tradtion and everytime i return to my homeland i go to my 3 favorite stores in knightsbridge which are mindblowing I always find great pieces in their. Anyways I am watching a new tv show called “Fashion Hunters” they have a variety of stores on the east coast. So ladies if you are ever in New York,Boston, Phili,Conneticut,Maine,DC,Vermont or Rhode Island check out the “Second Time Around” extravaganza !!

Anyone heading to New York anytime soon? Exciting news !! Cynthia Vincent opened her own store in New York carrying a wide range of unique pieces.Opening in Nolita, it adds a new twist to the city bringing LA - New York.The shop will carry turquoise and silver jewelry from West Coast flew markets ( $ 70 -  $1,200) , plus a bunch of exciting exuberant styles that apparently was not chosen by wholesalers. Olivia Palermo has FINALLY launched her website

Olivia Palermo’s eponymous website finally launched this weekend.

 One of her first entries is an ode to Stubbs & Wooten slippers, which states:

 “Stubbs & Wooten hand-made slippers for men and women are the shoes of my rock-star fantasies, or perhaps just for those of jumping the line at Bubby’s … You can also choose to have your Stubbs & Wootton monogramed [sic] with your initials in silver or 18 karat gold. Just keep in mind, you’ll need to tell the boy you meet post-Block Party your real name now, or at least one that begins with the same letter.”

News Corp. Now Facing More Than 60 Lawsuits for Phone Hacking

This is interesting to me because my mother has been on the frantic side recently as our phones constantly keep getting hacked into, on that not yes it is scary but infact possible so ALWAYS go through your telephone bills and keep track.

“Thirteen new claims this week against Rupert Murdoch’s empire, plus 24 last week, bring the total number of lawsuits seeking damages for phone hacking to at least 64 so far, including complaints from Princess Diana’s former butler, a 7/7 bombing hero, and Jude Law. Mark Lewis, the lawyer for some who were hacked, estimates that fewer than 5 percent of victims have been notified, and guesses that the company’s £20 million fund for settlements will soon be dry. Lewis, who once said the company would need more like £100 million, is now calling even that “a serious underestimate.” A January trial for five victims will likely set the precedent for how much News Corp. should pay, so settlements decided before that could prove extra-lucrative if the company is willing to “overpay to get rid of claimants,” as one media lawyer put it. If that’s the case, diving could soon be prohibited at the Murdoch money pit.”
